Topkapı Palace
The sultans’ palace on Sarayburnu: courtyards, the Imperial Council, the treasury and the terraces over the water. Dated entry, sold online on its own site.

A 1926 government house turned museum, telling Elbistan's history, cuisine, industry and crafts alongside its Antique and Islamic heritage.
The museum is housed in the Hükümet Konağı (government house), begun in 1926 under district governor Osman Bey and finished at the end of 1930 by his successor Gani Bey. It was the first public building constructed in Elbistan during the Republican period, and served as government house and courthouse until 1985.
Later it briefly hosted the Public Education Centre and public library, then from 1986 the police, including riot police, and after a restoration in 2004 it became a police club. In 2015 it was decided to reuse the building as a museum, and the work involved academics and experts to reflect Elbistan's historical and cultural identity while keeping the building's architecture intact.
Designed on modern museum principles, it presents Antique and Islamic civilisations and also the district's geography, economy, industry, cuisine, ethnographic objects and notable people, giving a fuller portrait of Elbistan and its surroundings.

According to the Ministry’s listing it opens at 08:00 and closes at 17:00 (last entry 16:30). Open every day.
