Topkapı Palace
The sultans’ palace on Sarayburnu: courtyards, the Imperial Council, the treasury and the terraces over the water. Dated entry, sold online on its own site.

A museum 50 metres from the Selimiye Mosque, with Enez finds, Thracian horseman stelae, Balkan costume and a garden about Edirne's water culture.
Built from 1969 and opened on 13 June 1971, this museum has two main sections plus a garden display. It stands about 50 metres from the east gate of the Selimiye Mosque, next to the area where Ottoman gravestones are exhibited.
The garden is the first surprise. At the entrance, Aeolic column capitals from a temple at Enez are set out, while the southern part, facing the Insect School, is devoted to water culture, including Edirne's Ottoman fish ponds and birdhouses.
Inside, the ethnography hall shows Balkan regional dress, calligraphy, rugs and kilims, a reconstructed Edirne bridal room and sitting room, and some personal belongings of Atatürk from his trip to Edirne. The archaeology section begins with fossils, including bones and teeth of rhinoceros and horse from around Edirne, then moves on to marble statues and stelae, among them grave stelae with the Thracian horseman. Finds from Enez, a key port at the crossroads of land, sea and river routes, form a major part of the display, with figured amphorae, terracotta figurines, ceramics, sculpture fragments and jewellery.

According to the Ministry’s listing it opens at 09:00 and closes at 19:00 (last entry 18:30). Open every day.
